I have been sitting on a few personal essays that I wrote a few months ago. They’re now published under reasons.

“fragrant refuse” and “two gaps in two walls” are installments in a series of reflections on a solo road trip I made through the American Southwest back in June/July. Months later, the journey remains quite clear in my imagination; where my imagination fails, I have a hardy notebook with a cannabis leaf emblazoned on the cover, full of observations.

Let me know what you think. These aren’t particularly valuable anywhere except here, and I’ll happily keep chugging along in publishing these if the demand is there.
